Welcome! I am Ramona Wright, Creator of A Better World Health And Healing Arts LLC. Life, love, tragedy, Loss, and the joy and sorrows of my family and friends have been my greatest teachers. Along the way I acquired some college degrees and certificates that helped me to understanding the creator, the creation, and the intricacies of the human body, mind, and spirit. We're thrilled to have you here. You only get one body to last for your entire life. What we do or don't do is a factor in our health and quality of life. And having done all, environmental factors influence our health in ways that are often not recognized, disclosed, or sometimes not discovered for decades.

The mission of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) is to improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations and American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities. Since 1985, OMH has provided resources and information that support the success, sustainability, and sharing of health disparity reducing policies, programs, and practices.
One night, in 1939, Billie Holiday stood on stage before a mixed audience in New York City and sang a song that was unlike anything anyone had heard before. ‘Strange Fruit’ was a musical lament against lynching. It imagined black bodies hanging from trees as a dark fruit native to the South. The song was banned in 1941, but Holiday refused to stop singing it and was hunted down relentlessly by the Head of the US Federal Bureau of Narcotics, Harry Ainslinger. The song was Named the "song of the century" by TIME magazine in 1999.
Since that time in the 1930s, it is understood by medical and social scientists that Narcotic Addiction is more complex than what was known at that time and is indeed a disease that requires appropriate treatment. It involves more than just saying no and having a strong will.
In 2025 medical help & support is available. We know more, know better, and are doing better with Addiction treatment.

"Our story began 30 years ago, inspired by a simple Kermit the Frog story shared with my children. Kermit's wish was for a better world —a world where hungry children are fed, clean water is accessible, and healthcare is available to all. A Better World Health And Healing Arts provides health services for people seeking supplemental or alternative options for maintaining health, improving health, and preventing illness. We believe that health and healing must occur in each of the dimensions of our existence; body, mind, and spirit.
